The room was very clean and with a nice balcony on which you can have breakfast. The hosts were extremely friendly and professional and even gave us a bag of orecchiette to take home.

Good location, the area is full of cafes, restaurants and shops. 10 min easy walking distance to Old Town and 5 min to Bari Centrale train station. The parking recommended by the host was very useful and necessary. Beware that it is practically impossible to find a parking on the street where it costs 2 euros per hour. The host has an agreement with Nuova Garage Roma (15 euros per day) which is 100 meters to the location. The property has good security with code access in the common area and a key for the apartment. The host, Piero, was very kindly, friendly and responsive and explain to us how we can visit all the important objectives in Bari and the surroundings. We also received a welcome gift, a small bag of traditional pasta orecchiette. The apartment no.4, with a balcony, is located on the third floor of the building. In fact, there are 3 apartments with their own lobby and bathroom and a common corridor. The room size is big enough for 3 persons, it is very basic but clean, the beds and pillows are okay, the linen and the towels seem old but fresh and clean. There are a lot of toiletries and you can use a small hairdryer. The WiFi is fast. Although the reservation through Booking.com was without any meal included, we have got a coffee machine, a tea/coffee maker, a wide range of tea bags, capsules for coffee and snacks, all for free. Also, we found 3 welcome free water bottles. The cleaning is done at every 2 days, that is okay.

The place is very close to the Bari centrale station, conveniently located, as we planned day trips to Matera and Arberobello. The owner was pleasant and helpful at check-in, gave me some good tips about Bari and the surroundings. At check out his wife gave us two boxes of orechiette as a gift. Unexpected and nice!

The accomodation was in the center of the city, 7 minutes to the railway station, 10 min to the old town, just next to the main bulevard, cleaning was excellent, once in 2 days, we had unlimited coffe and tea, every morning croissantes The host was very kind, he made the checkin a few hours before it was announced and kept our luggages till the evening, when we had our flight The room had a refrigerator, air conditioning, the buliding had an elevator and it is very safe

We were able to obtain a larger apartment with 2 rooms since it was available, which made our arrival from a long trip more enjoyable. Melo Accommodations is within easy walking distance to some nice cafes, great shopping and food, and close to the train station. The staff recommended some places to visit based on our desires.
